The steamy days of summer are upon us. Sans air conditioning, I’ve been hiding out in my basement and subsisting on a steady diet of icy drinks and desserts. It’s not a bad deal: I’d take tank tops and popsicles over blankets and space heaters any day. As if the days aren’t already hot enough, this weekend’s events include the spicy blend of South American indie music, a queer luau, and more Thursday gay parties than ever.

What’s up, Boston? Greetings from one of the few bonafide gay girls on the internet who isn’t actually a straight, married guy with a failed writing career. Happy Pride month, everyone! We’re well aware that this month means city-hopping on the Pride party circuit for some and staying local to avoid Gaga’s little monsters for plenty of others.
