Happy weekend, TNG readers! Between earthquakes and hurricanes, Mother Nature is letting us know loud and clear that change is in the air. The Eggplant Faerie Players are coming to the DC Center this Sunday.

The Eggplant Faerie Players use juggling, circus , music, drag, storytelling and theater to tell their tales of country life. Faerie Players MaxZine and TomFoolery are joined by Chicago bassist/cellist Maya Jensen for this tour. This show reflects their experiences of living in a queer intentional community in Tennessee for the last 17 years.

For its final act, DC’s only theater company dedicated to smut, Cherry Red Productions, will take on the dirtiest joke of all time, The Aristocrats. And as any theatergoer familiar with the company’s record of expertise in the art of bodily fluids will assure you: they’re just the folks to do it.

German nu-rave masters Digitalism are headlining the HARD Summer Tour in support of their recently released sophomore record I Love You Dude. The duo are joined by acts Switch (1/2 of Major Lazer), Destructo and Dillion Francis. Those here in DC can catch the tour at the legendary 9:30 Club tomorrow night. Tickets are $30 bucks and are still available.
