3/9—Never forget. This was the biggest week in indie music thus far, so it is broken up into two parts. If you don’t see your favorite record from the week here, expect it next week, ’cause your boy be steady listening to everything so you don’t have to trudge through the music world without guidance.

Hey y’all. So after the snow, it has been a slow week. Lots of stuff comes out in March, and I have a lot of records in my queue, but I’ve been too lazy to listen to all ofthem, becuase I found a couple records I’ve been stuck on. Unfortunately those don’t come out for a bit, so although this round-up will be shorter than the others, look forward to longer more expansive updates on all things music. Because I, Rohan, listen to things, so you don’t have to. Consider yourself lucky to have me in your life—or not.

Ok I am going to try something new as well. If you have never heard of Lala, it is a music website that allows you to listen to tracks for free as well as download the album/song in either a web-copy which can be streamed from any computer and some mobile devices (I hear the IPhone app is in the works!!!), or mp3 copy. To listen to the full song you have to sign up, but it is worth it. You can only listen to a full track once, unless you either purchase the web or mp3 copy. A bonus of signing up is you get 50 free credits that you can use to get web-copies of songs. Another plus is you can upload music from you own collection to stream from any computer wherever you are.

Hey y’all! So I would say, “less talk, more rock,” but instead here’s some bullshit to read before the reviews. It is really fun doing these reviews, because I get to impose my taste on whoever reads this, but it is even more fun weeding through promos. Getting promos makes me feel like I’m back in my radio days. I loved finding new music, but I also loved getting all the crap.
