Aside from my mother’s guitar, my favorite possession, naturally, is my iPod. And I’m fully convinced that somehow it’s hardwired to my brain. True, I’ve personally picked the now 6,000 songs on there, so that just might have something to do with it, but somehow when I put it on shuffle, it always magically knows what to play and when to play it. Tonight, I’m still recovering from a rather nasty bout of food poisoning (do NOT order the meatloaf at Open City!!!), and suffering from an acute case of late 20’s life malaise. Here’s how my beloved iPod commiserated and cheered me up on the long, boring walk to and from Michael and Zack’s apartment on this unseasonably warm, melancholy Tuesday night here in the DoC. I’m sure some of you have heard about the latest and greatest in gay-themed Tumblrs, Guys I Blocked on Grindr. Basically, I guess the idea is people send in the Grindr profiles of their most favorite unsuitable NSA-boning candidates and they’re put up on the internets for general mockery. On the one hand, of course, gays come in all colors, shapes and sizes, and people shouldn’t be mocked simply for not fitting into the beauty standards of mainstream gay blah blah New Gay cakes.  But on the other hand, some dudes are real weird and sketchy when they’re trying to get ass and that’s kinda funny, right? At the very least, like all Tumblr blogs, it’s something mildly amusing to glance at while you’re bored at work. (Insert gratuitous self-promotion here.)
