- One day I want to drive one of those dream cars to a house in the country my partner and I will own where we have planted fields of sunflowers.

- I wrote a piece of legislation that was passed into law. I have one of the pens President Clinton used to sign it.
- I believe that almost all people are inherently good.
- When I was 25 I decided that I no longer needed to learn things “the hard way.” I am totally open to advice and learning from other people’s life experiences.
- My Mom is one of the most amazing people in the world. If I become half the person she is, I will be extremely happy.
- I fell in love with Adrian the first time I met him, and he is the only person in the world who, on daily basis, motivates me to ask and answer the question, “How can I be a better person?” We are registered domestic partners in DC.
- I am a hopeless romantic, and I wish people would say, "screw it. I am going to carry out more sweet, thoughtful acts of kindness just to make another person smile."
- I didn’t believe in marriage until Adrian and I separated for about 8 months during 2007 and 2008. Most people, would have given up, but we didn’t. That is one of my proudest accomplishments. Because we beat the odds for “traditional” marriage (51% end in divorce), we’ve changed our minds and will get married one day.

Ignore the title of the video. I am a hopeless romantic. I love life, even when it’s shitty. I have a foul mouth. I am a total momma’s boy, and I have been blessed beyond belief because I get to come home everyday to a man I love so much that just thinking about him puts a huge smile on my face. After nearly seven years, some of which were difficult, I love Adrian more today than I ever thought possible. This video is my attempt to share some of that love with you.
