After a chilly week, the long (and hopefully warm) weekend will be well-deserved. Here’s what’s going on around Boston:
THURSDAY
- We say it every week and we’ll say it again, five glorious weekly queer events happen every Thursday night in Boston. They are: Circus Thursdays at Club Cafe, Glamlife, Queeraoke, GTL, and Karaoke Thursday. Check event websites for details.
FRIDAY
- Ladytron plays Paradise Rock Club tonight. Details: Paradise Rock Club. 967 Commonwealth Avenue. Allston. 8pm. TIX. 18+.
- Gender bending comedic performance troupe All the Kings Men perform at Oberon tonight. Details: Oberon. 2 Arrow Street. Cambridge (Harvard Square). 8:00pm. TIX – $20.
- Guerrilla Queer Bar celebrates four years of painting the town gay by taking over Tequila Rain in Fenway tonight. Details: Tequila Rain. 3 Lansdowne Street. Boston. 9pm-2am. 21+.
SATURDAY
- The gays girls of Boston are heading to Machine for DykeNight’s Second Saturday tonight. DJs Darrin Friedman and Double D spin. Details: Machine. 1254 Boylston Street. Boston. 9:30pm-2am. $10. 21+.
- Eclectic 80s/glam/queer/whatever party Heroes is happening at T.T. the Bear’s. Details: T.T. the Bear’s. 10 Brookline Street. Cambridge. 10pm-2am. $7. 21+.
SUNDAY
- Dr. Sketchy’s (aka the burlesque drawing session of your dreams) makes a triumphant return to Great Scott today. Details: Great Scott. 1222 Commonwealth Avenue. Allston. 2:30-5:30pm. 18+, ID REQUIRED.
- RJD2 play Paradise Rock Club tonight with DJ Ryan Durkin. Details: Paradise Rock Club. 967 Commonwealth Avenue. Allston. 7pm/doors 8pm/show. TIX. 18+.
