This article was pointed out to me about a week ago.
Just from the subtitle “Gay guys who love ex-girls, and other Brooklyn permutations”, you already feel the urge to bang your head against a nearby wall.
Apparently trans men are the new fad and dating flavour of the hour in the queer and hipster communities, nothing more than an interesting and curious spectacle (especially if you watch the accompanying video to the article).
Also, it isn’t nice to confuse the non-queer readers with phrases and concepts like “gender variant-transgenderish” and “gender neutral person” without explaining them.
Well, at least they used the right pronouns…
