LA duo Kisses have been on my radar for a bit, and they should be on yours too. They’ve formerly been the song of the day, but now today’s song is their remix of the Swedish band Lake Heartbeat. The original track is a mid-tempo with whispery vocals and gently strummed guitars until the head bobbing chorus slides in. Kisses keep the original backing keyboards but takes a bit of fuzz off the vocals making them less whispery and more pronounced. The track still sways along, but some of the other added instrumentation is along the line Kisses’s AM pop/70’s disco inspired sounds.
