Toronto’s Little Girls is the one man project of Josh McIntyre, who specializes in the lo-fi skuzzy Jesus and the Mary Chain inspired rock that seems to be overtaking the “indie” rock world. His debut Concepts is full of jangly and echoy pop songs sure to hit the spot of any lo-fi enthusiast. Today’s Song of the day is a cover he has prepared of “10 Mile Stereo,” originally by Baltimore’s Beach House. McIntyre, a fan of their recently released record Teen Dream, wanted to pay tribute to Beach House. The cover is faithful to the backing music just adding an extra layer of dread and echo atop the already gorgeous song.

Also if you didn’t know Beach House’s new record comes with a DVD with a video of each track done by some pretty awesome directors. Here is the video for the original “10 Mile Stereo” directed by Kari Altmann.
