Here’s one for all you indie fags out there. Check out this vid of Bon Iver and St. Vincent joining forces to cover the Annie Lennox classic, “Why?” at a Haiti benefit in Brooklyn last weekend. Obviously, it’s nowhere near the original and, to me at least, it’s got kind of a “best prom band in the tri-state area” vibe to it, but it’s pretty interesting, not to mention pretty daring. I mean you have to have some balls, as a singer, to even go near Annie Lennox. Just sayin’…

Its gotta suck being Bon Iver. I don’t think I’ve been able to trade my testicle to the devil for a beaufiful singing voice.
