Cut and Paste Rock ‘n Roll is less than one month away!
Meet Scully, the official mascot of Cut & Paste Rock 'n Roll
CPRR is Long Beach’s very own queer crafts and music festival. Last year (our first) was a huge success–we bands ranging from rock to folk, electro, and cabaret, and lots of crafts for sale made by local artists. Plus craft-tables for attendees to make their own stuff. Furthermore, the event raises money for youth programs at the Gay and Lesbian Center in Long Beach.
This year, TNG is sponsoring the event, and it promises to be even better. I’ll be posting periodically to profile the event and highlight some of the queer bands and artists who’ll be performing.
This year’s lineup includes:
Patsy DeKline and the Rolling Blackouts (featuring queercore pioneer Slade of Tribe 8)
Some of the artists on hand include:
Queer Trash (zines and shirts)
Marky Makeup (live body painting)
