TNG TV: A Sunny Day in Glasgow Cover Fleetwood Mac… Just For Us!

This post was submitted by Zack Rosen

Philly-based dreampopsters A Sunny Day in Glasgow were nice enough to treat The New Gay’s readers to a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Everywhere” while they were in DC playing at the Red and The Black. They blend the cover into their song “The White Witch,” making this whole thing that much more awesome. While as far as I know the FM cover only exists here, those who enjoyed the second song should pick up the groups newest album Ashes Grammar. Pretty doesn’t even begin to do it justice.

the white girl is soooooo off key, kind of taints the radness of the song.

[...] Finger in the ear time. What a fantastic song. Is it a good idea to sing while reclining? Discuss. (via The New Gay) [...]

I love this! Both songs sound fantastic. I saw them recently in concert, and they sounded even better than the album. So energetic!

Also, I think in the first chorus, whoever sings the higher note during that “aaah” is a little off, but then she gets it better the second time around. Neither of them is especially off-key for the verses though.
