Just what America needed but didn’t know it wanted: a lesbian, Jewish comic with a sex change and an attitude.
One of the country’s most prominent trans-activists, Riki Wilchins takes on binary genders, identity politics, passing, political correctness and the medical establishment in an evening of humor, sketch and improvisation that leaves no rhinestone unturned and no slip showing.
Founder of the protest group Transsexual Menace and the advocacy organization GenderPAC, Wilchins is author of Queer Theory/Gender Theory, GenderQueer and Read My Lips.
