Leopold And His Fiction really impressed me when I saw them open for The Detroit Cobras a few months ago. Now, they are headlining their own show at Spaceland (1717 Silverlake Blvd) this Tuesday, December 22.
If you’re not familiar with them, their music has a folksy, backwoods feel and also a garage lofi vibe, with a strong narrative element. They are what Devandra Banhart might sound like if he wasn’t trying to annoy you.
