Today’s song is a track that has been kicking around the blogosphere for a while but I loved it so much that I had to feature it. This remix of Florence and the Machine’s cover of The Source ft/ Candi Staton’s “You’ve Got The Love” is by the big shit band the xx. It isn’t your ordinary remix either. Rather than just make a back beat and let Florence’s original vocals grace the top, the xx redo the vocal, the beat only allowing the original come through with a looped hook, making it is almost a cover of a cover.
