Happy Thursday, DC-based TNG readers! This week was my first week back to work after my vacation following Thanksgiving and let me tell you: time has been dragging. Since my work revolves around politics, the post-election slump has meant that not much has been going on in the office. Also, we all seem to be moving around like zombies who can’t even be bothered to search for brains. My boss and I have labeled it “a case of the Decembers.” To fill the time this week I’ve been training for a holiday-themed 10K race and finishing my holiday shopping, but still time crawls. For those looking to fill their days in the District in other ways, this weekend offers a variety of different options, a few of which are listed below for your convenience.
