Song of the Day: Yellow Fever, “Hell Fire”

Yellow Fever is a rad bass/drum female/male duo who make music unlike those other bass/drum combos. They craft intricate rhythms much like Young People, or Young Marble Giants, and singer Jennifer Moore’s vocals even hit a Stereolab sweet-spot.
“Hell Fire” is a subdued stomper that is pretty darn delightful. Yellow Fever’s self-titled debut comes out next week (12/1) on the Vivian Girl’s Wild World label.
