This week, my office has been preparing to change over to a new server. Which will be great. In about 4 days when it’s over. So far, it hasn’t been so great, because it’s forcing me to actually work while I’m at work. And we all know how I feel about that. But here’s what I (and perhaps you) missed on TNG this week:
In Commentary
- Jean, Not Your Average Prom Queen, examined one of my personal favorite TV phenomena: the fat guy/skinny wife show.
- In The Adventures of the Boi Wonder, Levi tries to figure out how you are supposed to start being yourself when you’ve trying to cover that up all your life.
- Corey brings us his musings on privilege from his Little Black Book.
- When you’re in a couple, it can be hard to maintain your individuality. Kareem gives his advice on individuality to all the couples out there in this week’s Being Single Is…
In Music
- Lesbians! (And other people). Zack interviewed Sara Quinn of Tegan and Sara.
- Rohan interviewed Spiral Stairs in Driveway to Driveway, Drunk.
In Culture/Politics
- Maine did’t vote to keep gay marriage legal. I cried a tear In The Ladies’ Room.
- This week Jolly sets his Global Gaze on the role on religion and the LGBT movement.
In Events
- And as, always, what to do in TNG cities around the country: DC, San Francisco, and Chicago.
