This didn’t make it into my weekly event posting, but it sounds like a great activity for tonight!
Roots of Equality is having a Masquerade Ball to commemorate the closing of their exhibit on Lavendar Los Angeles, an exploration of GLBT history in LA.
Masquerade Ball
“In the spirit of All-Fool’s night, a Los Angeles tradition long lost, the exhibit will close it’s final night with a masquerade party co-sponsored by our friends at Equal Roots.
There will be a DJ [From Mustache Mondays!], the Border Grill Taco Truck [Yum!!!!], and a no-host bar. Entry is free!
Come with a mask, or cross-dressed, or both.”
The event occurs at The Exchange at 114 W. 5th St. in Downtown LA.
