Last week, Lady Gaga released her newest music video, “Bad Romance,” which instantly tore through (some) queer social circles, reinvigorating the ardent debates over whether Gaga is worthy of LGBT icon status. Meanwhile, though, it seems some in the geek world are willing to claim her after a little editing… My only complaint is the lack of Sega Genesis goodness in the video footage.
I think the name “Lady Gaga” is quite clever and fun. I was thinking of “Gaga” when I read that the website Lala.com had been acquired by Apple, so I wrote a fun holiday spoof about double syllables (Lala, Gaga, Yo-Yo, Ho-Ho) and an Apple party. Here’s the link: http://tiny.cc/Q4oB4
