Melancholy New York pop outfit Clare and The Reasons just happened to be playing at DC’s Black Cat the same night as TNG’s Transformer dance party. So naturally I spent a couple minutes with them backstage to have the whole band say hi to the TNG readership. It was Halloween, the band had just finished playing and the dressing room was very noisy. So we were unfortunately unable to have them do a cover of their awesome single “Ooh, You Hurt Me So” or learn more about the proper pronunciation of Clare’s surname, Manchon. But they did all prove themselves to be very charming. Check ‘em out.
