DC Weekend Preview: Welcome to November Edition
Happy Almost-Weekend, DC-based TNG friends! Well, it’s officially November (seriously?!). The air is getting crisper, the holidays are approaching and Election Day is finally behind us. Fun fact: November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, National Novel Writing Month, Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month, Transgender Awareness Month, American Diabetes Month, Lung Cancer Awareness Month, National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, Crohn’s & Ulcerative Colitis Awareness Month, and the month dedicated to the Holy Souls in Purgatory in the Roman Catholic Church. Now that’s multi-tasking! Whatever you’re celebrating this first full weekend of November, the District has some great events to help you do it.
As always, if you know of an event coming up that you think your fellow TNG readers might enjoy, send the details to events@thenewgay.net and/or leave them in the comments below and we’ll throw them up on the calendar ASAP.
