A shining star of the homo/hop universe, trans San Francisco rapper Katastrophe (nee Rocco Kayiatos) stands with similar luminaries Athens Boys Choir and Shunda K in that his sexuality or gender identity takes a backseat to genuinely awesome music. (And yeah, they are all totally do-able, but that’s neither here nor there.) Katastrophes’ moody, atmospheric delivery is on display here in the track “Till It’s Gone,” which is off his new album “The Worst Amazing.”

And I mean really new. It came out today. So what are you waiting for? Go check it out.

    I just went to the record release, and live performance at the Stud here in San Francisco. Awesome. It was his(and his twin sis’s) birthday too. I have never seen so many girls and boys and everything in between all lusting after the same person. All eyes were on Katastrophe. He has a new Mag too called OP -Original Plumbing. BTW your articles are hysterical. Come see us in eastern neighborhoods if you get the chance.
