WVAU, American University’s student-run radio station, will host a free Halloween show as part of its “Capitol Punishment” concert series on Saturday. The holiday show will feature a costume contest (the bands will be dressing up, too). The early, all ages show will feature performances by Tickley Feather, Talk Normal, and D.C.’s own Soft Power (Mary Timony’s new band).

Capitol Punishment is a free concert series founded by WVAU to connect AU’s campus to the district’s thriving music scene. Capitol Punishment veterans include: Ponytail, These United States, and Screaming Females.  All shows are free and open to the public.
