Washington DC: 10/22-10/25 – The Bentzen Ball @ U Street Corridor & 14th Street

Event Details: 10/22-10/25 - The Bentzen Ball @ U Street Corridor & 14th Street - :

bentzenballBrightest Young Things and Tig Notaro are teaming up to bring DC the Bentzen Ball comedy festival this weekend.

The event, curated by Tig Notaro (LA-based comedian who has appeared on The Sarah Silverman Program, In The Motherhood and starring as Joan Jett’s mother in the upcoming The Runaways biopic) and produced by BYT, will take place up and down the U street Corridor and along 14th street (venues include: Lincoln Theatre, Bohemian Caverns, The Black Cat, 930 Club and the Studio Theatre) and will feature a line up of upwards of 60 comedians including the casts and writers of such shows and movies as Little Miss Sunshine, Flight of The Chonchords, Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation, Jimmy Fallon Show, Conan O’Brien Show, Premium Blend, Chelsea Lately, Best Week Ever and beyond.

Tickets are priced as follows:

  • $15 for a single show
  • $30 for the Patton Oswalt and Sarah Silverman shows
  • $40 for a 3 show pack
  • $110 for a weekend pass (which is to include the Patton and the Sarah shows)
  • $210 dollars for the gold pass (which will include all of the above plus the VIP cruise and other perks)

    Look up Tig Notaro to see what a crazy hoaxster she is. She gets kyle dunnigan to batter 70 year old holocaust survivors.She’s like Charlie Manson but without the energy.

    This festival tanked. Brightest Young things flew many of the comics out and now is really broke. I wonder if they will survive this debacle.
