Busboys and Poets is hosting Cleve Jones and author Sherry Wolf this Saturday.
Discussing the struggle for LGBTQ liberation, Jones and Wolf will be featured as part of the National Equality March.
An activist and author, Cleve Jones is an influential member of the LGBTQ movement, working closely with Harvey Milk in the 1970s. He is also known for conceiving the NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt as well as co-founding the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Sherry Wolf’s latest book, Sexuality and Socialism, published by Haymarket Books, addresses both the history of the LGBT Liberation Movement as well as the means by which we can achieve sexual equality.
