The beginning of Scare Season is starting. Howl O Scream’s revving up at Busch Gardens, and Halloween Horror Nights is gearing up just the same in Orlando. Even Disney’s getting in on the act. For the horror enthusiast, the fall is a magical time of year. For everyone else, there are all sorts of concerts, art events, and varied performances to keep you busy.
In the words of Dr. Paul Bearer, “I’ll be lurking for you.”
Friday
Howl O Scream starts tonight at Busch Gardens. The yearly horror event is in its 10th year and includes shows, haunted houses, scare zones, and night coasters and rides. This weekend is the Freaky Preview, with the event hitting full force next week starting on Thursday. Just as a disclaimer, I work at Howl O Scream (scaring people is awesome and fun), but I am not a spokesperson for HoS. I also gain nothing for pimping out the event. I just love it. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay, 10165 North McKinney Drive, 7:30 p.m., Price vary based on which night you attend, whether or not you buy tickets in advance, and any discounts you might find. Check the website for more info.)
