Featured Event: 9/19 – TNG Presents: BETTY Petting @ Dahlak
Where the Girls Go, The District Parlour Co., and The New Gay are teaming up to host a kick off party for BETTY on Saturday. Together we intend to break down barriers and mix up the scene with an ALL-INCLUSIVE dance party that helps to welcome the pop/rock sensation, BETTY, back to the District.
BETTY is the original pop rock band fronted by Alyson Palmer and sisters Elizabeth and Amy Ziff. Originally from Washington DC, activists BETTY fight fiercely for what they believe, including equal rights for all and the empowerment of girls and women. Now based in New York City, the band’s defiant attitude and signature sound of tight harmonies, infectious melodies and evocative lyrics layered over strong grooves are making their devoted cult grow larger every year. BETTY performs wildly memorable and boundary-pushing live shows all over the world.
Partial ticket proceeds will be donated to The Mautner Project and The Whitman Walker Clinic.
