Song of the Day.: Lou Barlow, “Gravitate.”

This post was submitted by Zack Rosen

LBSomething about the year 2009 is bringing out a lot of new activity from rock legends of the 90s. Maybe its the number 9? In that case, expect the year 2013 to see a resurgence in barbershop quartets and songs about Tom Joad. But I digress. In addition to recent activity with bands like The Pixies, The Breeders and Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, Folk Implosion and Dinosaur Jr. frontman Lou Barlow will be releasing his new album, Goodnight Unknown, on October 6th. Its first posted track, “Gravitate,”  indicates that the whole thing should be a somber, yet gravely, affair.

You can listen to the track on the below player, and download it at the link below that. Enjoy!
