It began 9 years ago with a simple idea: no velvet rope, songs you couldn’t hear anywhere else, and a friendly, no attitude atmosphere.
Saturday, August 22, BLISS Dance Party will celebrate 9 years of no attitude, just fun, and insane dancing and Yes Giantess, Codebreaker and Dmerit join resident DJ Will Eastman.
Yes Giantess are tearing it up, remixing the new Asher Roth single and Passion Pit. Their debut single “Tuff N Stuff” is simply rad. Codebreaker, whom BLISS is pleased to have joining them for the 3rd amazing time, was recently remixed by The Juan Maclean and continue to be an object of desire for dancefloor hounds and bloggers alike. DC’s own Dmerit—whose luxurious tracks are no strangers to anyone who’s heard Eastman DJ this past year—drop their debut ep August 25 and the folks at BLISS are delighted to be celebrating their record release party with a live set by them. Will Eastman’s remix of Ruby Isle is released on iTunes next month followed by his debut single “Feelin” on Plant Music with remixes by DC’s Tittsworth, Nadastrom, and Dmerit.
