Your Morning Upper: Sham Poo or Real Poo?

I have vague recollections from this skit from the Muppet Show from when I was a kid. However, one part of it always stuck with me: when asked whether he used “shampoo” a “wig trainer” replied that he doesn’t use “sham poo” and only uses “real poo.” My god, I thought that was the funniest thing ever. But only recently, after saying shampoo/real-poo to my friends for decades, did I realize that “sham poo” meant “fake poo.” Realizing this as an adult made it a thousand times funnier.
