Amy Ray of The Indigo Girls is coming to the Black Cat this August and tickets are on sale now.
Although she’s best known as 1/2 of The Indigo Girls, Amy Ray is also a dedicated solo artist. And though she’s been signed to a major label for over 30 years as part of a duo, she’s the owner of the respected independent label Daemon Records. And though she’s influenced many as a folk singer, she’s also a straight-up rocker. This time around she’s playing with Kaia Wilson and Melissa York of The Butchies, Ani DiFranco collaborator Julie Wolf, and Gregg Griffith.
