The Washington Progressive Muslim Meetup group is hosting an event this Saturday: Homosexuality and Islam with Imam Daayiee Abdullah.

Prominent American biologist Alfred Kinsey estimated that 10 percent of the human population is gay. Does this hold true of Muslims too? Is there any such thing as a gay Muslim? Join the Washington DC Progressive Muslim Meetup for an interactive discussion of homosexuality and Islam.

Imam Daayiee Abdullah of the Al-Fatiha Foundation will present traditional and progressive views of homosexuality in Islam with substantial time reserved for an interactive discussion and question and answer session.

All are welcome to walk in, but please RSVP if possible.
