It’s time for another TNG day in the park! This will mark the third of our monthly gatherings at Kalorama Park. The idea is simple: Wouldn’t it be fun to get out of the bars, sit around on blankets, talk, and enjoy the nice weather with other queers? The answer to this question seems to be a resounding “yes!” as we’ve been lucky to have beautiful weather, fun people, and cute dogs in attendance so far.
Please join us Saturday, June 27th, from about 1:00-5:00 at Kalorama Park for the next TNG day in the park. Please bring blankets, perhaps some picnic goodies to share, frisbees, maybe some sun block, and any other items that make for a nice day in the park. Also, bring your dogs! Heaven knows your dog is cute and you should show her off at every opportunity.
Since it can be tricky to find a group of people that you may not already know, look for the rainbow flag with the word “PACE” on it. It’s an Italian peace flag and I have one, so it’s close enough to a gay pride flag that we’ll use it. Perhaps we can even take this opportunity to discuss the history of the rainbow flag. In any case, this event is, as always, co-ed, trans-inclusive and straight friendly. Hope to see you there!
