Happy Thursday, folks! Welcome to yet another edition of DC Weekend Preview. This weekend marks the end of May and summer is starting to get into full swing. Whether you’ve just graduated, are looking for a new job, or just looking to do something a little different, this weekend is the perfect time to carpe diem (or carpe PM, if you’re a night owl). Whether seizing the day for you means getting out there and promoting marriage equality or trying out a new event or venue, get out there and do it in the District.

• Show your support for marriage equality in the District by joining DC for Marriage as they take their “I Do in DC” canvassing to the 14th and U Farmer Market. Details: 14th and U Farmers Market, The group will meet outside of Busboys & Poets at 10:00 a.m.
• TNG is introducing a brand new event at Town Danceboutique (yes, that Town Danceboutique) named Seizure (now you see where this week’s theme comes from). Come out and help to make the event’s kick-off a blast! Details: Town Danceboutique, 2009 8th St NW, Downstairs, Doors: 9:00 p.m., No entry after 2:30 AM, Club open until 4 AM, $8 before 11:00 p.m.
