Event Details: 5/21 - Kathryn Wagner Benefit Fundraiser @ Phase 1 - :
George Washington University and University of Maryland professor Kathryn Wagner will be travelling to Uganda to teach Ugandan Sign Language to educators of deaf children, and she needs your help!
You can show your support for Kathryn by coming to Phase 1 this Thursday and hearing DC-based musicians Sarah Azzara, Nancy Eddy and Mara Levi play. A minimum donation of $5 will serve as a cover for the evening, which will be used for books and supplies for the deaf children, and to help establish mental health support groups.
