Would you like to be get involved with The New Gay while receiving college credit or building a resume for a career in journalism? Our current managing editor, Corey, will soon be moving to Denver and TNG will need a new superstar to replace him. Aside from being absolutely indispensable to the daily operation of The New Gay, you will learn a number of valuable skills in the fields of writing, editing, blogging and generally making sure that the workings of your favorite alt-queer online publication don’t come screeching to a halt. The job will take, at the most, four hours a day and the duties include scheduling and editing posts, responding to potential contributors, managing existing contributors and overseeing many of the sites’ regular duties.

An ideal candidate will have the required amount of free time, great organizational skills, an eye for detail and live in DC. (Graphic design and HTML skills are also welcome, but not necessary.)

(And as dry as this post is, I promise that working for TNG is a lot of fun. Our staff meetings involve wine and pizza, and you get to spend a lot of the day emailing with me. Who could ask for anything more?)
