smyalCome out to Duplex Diner this Sunday and help support the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL) by sipping champagne.

SMYAL for Champagne is a fundraising event and part of the 3rd Annual Bite On This Progressive Dinner. Bite On This involves more than 120 people on three teams competing to serve the “winning” course in a three-course dinner.This year, Bite On This has added a new component in which the three teams also hold fundraising events to benefit the chosen charity, SMYAL.

Founded in 1984, SMYAL is the only Washington, DC metro area service organization solely dedicated to supporting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth. SMYAL’s mission is to promote and support self-confident, healthy, productive lives for LGBTQ youth as they journey from adolescence into adulthood.

You’re invited to help raise awareness and money for SMYAL simply by showing up at the Duplex Diner on Sunday April 5, from 3PM to whenever, for a glass of champagne (or whatever). Remember to tip well because the tips will go to SMYAL.
