Join the folks at TAINT this Saturday, April 18th for their April Showers edition of the alt-queer dance party for girls and boys at DC9.
This month’s event will feature DJ K La Rock and DJ rAt.
As part of the DJ duo, Choque y Fuga, DJ rAt has been DJing all over the place, and notably at the Be:XX Wednesdays. Come early to hear DJ rAt from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. as she warms up the dance floor for K La Rock.
DJ K La Rock has been freakin’ dancefloors since 2002, serving up a sweaty mix of baile funk, Bmore bangers, retro-electro, punk-funk weirdness, and disco-dance skronk . As one of the founders of the First Ladies DJ Collective, she fought to break the “vinly ceiling” and empower women DJs. She’s moved crowds in DC, Baltimore, Philly, and NYC and continues leave asses wigglin’ up and down the East Coast.
