Event Details: District City Darlings House Show and BBQ - March 28 - :
District City Darlings, a diverse female organization dedicated to helping women form bonds regardless of culture, sub-culture, or outside interest, are hosting a house show and BBQ to benefit Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive (HIPS) on March 28th. You can bring a donation to help support the cause: unused makeup, clothing, canned food, children’s clothes, children’s toys, unused shampoo/shower gel/soap/other toiletries.
Bands include: The Screws, Miam the Monster, Typefighter, The Proper Skanks, JJ Damage and his One Man Band, and DJ Antonio spinning Mash-ups/Soul/Reggae/Hip-Hop.

The bands have changed! The lineup is as follows:
JJ Damage and his One Man Band (very entertaining rockabilly)
Free Addiction (Wheaton pop punk)
Miam the Monster (female fronted punk)
Sister-EX (Bmore/DC female fronted rock&roll)
The Screws (DC Punk Legends)
Then the rest of the night, DJ Antonio spinning Mash-ups/Soul/Reggae/Hip-Hop
(By reggae we mean artists like Desmond Dekker, Laurel Aitken, and Toots and the Maytals.)
