While advertisements can sometimes be awesome (aka the only reason to watch the Super Bowl) they can also be really really bad. And when advertisers specifically target women – with their simple lady-minds, crazy emotions and constant need to stay THIN – the results can be disastrous. This is the reasoning behind the Current TV segment “Target: Women” hosted by one of my major girl-crushes Sarah Haskins. In her weekly bits she’s taken on ads selling birth control, family meals, cleaning supplies and, my personal favorite, yogurt that makes you poop. Thanks for keeping us regular, Sarah!

I didn’t even notice the hoodies until now. That is kinda weird. I wonder if you’ve seen the new Yaz commercials where the women claim the FDA made them clarify some stuff but really seems like they’re just selling it to you louder.
The husband searching through the fridge is kinda cute though.
