In this “fashionably challenged district,” it’s nice to know The Greater Washington Fashion Chamber of Commerce (GWFCC) works hard to spice up DC’s love for non profits, charities and government by supporting local fashion artists and designers through out the DC/metropolitan area. Even Tim Gunn loves the GWFCC for their efforts and helps to support the organization’s mission: “To promote the business interests of those in the Fashion/Style Industry in addition to promoting Washington as a Global Fashion Capital.”
Tonight, the GWFCC is hosting another fabulous event: The Fashion Hour. This gathering is a bimonthly networking reception the GWFCC hosts for its members, potential members and fashion business friends to network and collaborate. The February Fashion Hour is being held at the tastefully decorated Library Room at the Darlington House just north of DuPont. The cocktail reception is from 6pm-9pm.
