		<description>Um ... I have to disagree with alot of this piece.  I&#039;m gay and black and have never been oppressed a day in my life.  I have experienced racism, but the idea that I am inherently an outsider is bogus.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;I reject identity politics rooted in the notion that all Black people are more &quot;deeply bruised.&quot; If anything, perpetuating the notion that we are the consummate victims is outdated. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;We need to have a serious dialogue about race, but this piece doesn&#039;t represent the views of all black people and makes no suggestions about how to move forward--together.</description>
