How to Win Tickets for CSS

Event Details: How to Win Tickets for CSS - :
CSS’ LoveFoxx (4th from left) sports a most unsexy body suit. Let this be your inspiration.

At this Thursday’s “Tired of Being Sexy” party we will be giving away five sets of tickets to see queer Brazilian pop/punk band CSS play at the 9:30 Club this Saturday. As we mentioned before, CSS is an acronym for “Cansei de Ser Sexy,” which translates to “tired of being sexy.” Keeping with this, we are giving the tickets away to our party guests who wear the least sexy outfits they can find. This can include pajamas, burlap sacks or a shirt made of naked photos of your grandpa. It’s up to you. We’ll give away one pair of tickets every half hour between 9 and 11, so show up early and leave your uncomfortably skinny jeans at home. (We also suggest you write “CSS” on your nametag to avoid any embarrassments for those who might not be entering the contest on purpose.)

How about “tired of hipster poseurs who dress like self-loathing, vegan, retro 70s dorks for effect”. What an act. Sneakers, tats, facial hair, pre-distressed jeans from Macy’s and an ironic t-shirt does not make you cool.

    Arriviste.

Grow the fuck up. Take a shower. Try looking and acting like an adult who is “tired of being sexy”. That would actually be more interesting.
