Politics: Tonight: Embrace Your Vices at the Duplex Diner

Event Details: Tonight: Embrace Your Vices at the Duplex Diner - :

It’s Washington, D.C., so chances are you’re watching Joe Biden and Sarah Palin face off in their only debate tonight. If you’re not hosting or attending a vice-presidential debate party, head to the Duplex Diner where former TNG staff writer Robert is hosting an event.

From Robert’s e-mail:

This Thursday night, October the 2nd, join us at the Duplex Diner for some bipartisan boozing as we watch the vice presidential debates and drink away our shrinking savings accounts.

Stick around after this train wreck as I will be spinning some
Alaskan hip-hop,
Delaware dub,
bastard pop,
guilty pleasures,
and other rebel rhythms.

Come say hello and do a shot of Jameson with me.

Details: Tonight (Thursday, October 2), Duplex Diner, 2004 18th St. NW, debate starts at 9 p.m.

wish i had known bout this earlier! i will be striking a match and setting flames to the log cabin gathering at nellie’s, tonite.

as a sidenote: i noticed on the log cabin web site that they are holding a forum at howard next week–exactly who are they appealing to? all the self-hating gay repbulicans enrolled at a historically black university? could this group make any less sense??

What’s the info about the Howard meeting of the LCR? It would be interesting to see how it goes.

Am I the only one who thinks it would actually be interesting to go?
