Hey hey, everybody and welcome to the Wednesday mixtape! Hopefully, all of you are having a lovely day. Currently, I’m astounded by what 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep can do for your general mood. If you’re feeling like I was yesterday, however, here’s a mixtape of songs to make you feel better, culled from artists and albums featured in this week’s What We’re Listening To. As usual, I went ahead and added an extra. I realized that yesterday I was kind of going on and on about Matt Pond PA’s new, poppier sound, but didn’t really bother to talk much about why I liked their stuff in the first place. Well, here’s me rectifying that with a song off the album The Nature of Maps, called “The Party.” It’s kind of false advertising, because it doesn’t really make you want to party, but it’s so pretty!
