How do you feel about DC? Though a lot of folks just view the city as a way station toward greater things, all of its residents are here for a reason. Perhaps you’re just around until the session ends, or maybe you have The District’s flag tattooed on your neck. Either way, The New Gay invites you to come out and celebrate all that you love about DC or to gripe about the things you don’t. As usual, our parties are co-ed and straight friendly. And in addition to our usual mix of classic and contemporary indie favorites, we’ll include a fun selection of DC-centric music.
TNG “I Heart DC” Party, Thursday July 10, Solly’s Tavern, 1942 11th St. NW, 8 PM, 21+, no cover.
RSVP on Facebook.
Download and print your own flyer.

I think you have mistaken the address of Solly’s.
Thanks, onestep. The current address is now the correct one.
All: Sorry for the confusion. Make sure you have the correct address for Solly’s: 1942 11th Street @ U St.
It was wrong on the Facebook invite, but I just updated it.

TNG started off as a DC-based blog/website for alternative queer culture, events and commentary, but we've realized our writing and concept isn't applicable only to DC. We're working to expand into other cities throughout the US. Here's how you can help:* Become a city events editor.
In order to be a good fit for helping us out, you have to meet two criteria: you need to be prepared to spend some time at this, and you need to be frustrated with the current status of queer culture in your town. If you think you have what it takes, please let us know by emailing info@thenewgay.net.* Write for TNG.
