Capital Pride weekend has come and gone, but many of the after effects are still with us. I’m sure the street sweepers missed a few strands of beads along R or 17th Streets. Many of us still have alcohol in our bloodstreams. Some probably have vague memories of making out with someone they met this weekend. If not memories, some physical evidence such as a hicky, a scratch mark or maybe worse. Hopefully no one did anything this weekend they’d be ashamed of, considering the purpose of the celebration.

Personally, I had a great weekend. I had a quiet night on Friday night, my cycling group did another great 30 mile ride on Saturday morning, and the TNG party at the Mousetrap was a blast. (More recap to follow.) I skipped the street fair on Sunday to rest up and prepare for the week.

With such a fun weekend behind us, what is there to look forward to? How about another TNG party!

This event will help support “stress reduction,” “emotional connection with others” and “hope” while hopefully not taking away too much from “avoidance of physical toxins,” “exercise” and “sleep, rest and relaxation.”
