“This month’s location is one of my favorite lesser-known spots in DC and will be perfect to escape the heat and humidity. Nestled away on New Hampshire Avenue, with an unassuming vintage Art Deco façade, lies the Carlyle Suites. We will be in the hotel’s air-conditioned “patio” bar. The atrium-like patio also has a retractable roof if the weather is conducive to opening it. The hotel has two bar areas. The patio bar is the one to the right. If you have any trouble finding it, just ask the front desk. There will be food and drinks special provided. Stop by any time between 5:30 pm and 9:00 pm. I hope to see everyone there!”
