Politics: McCain Pride Statement

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EoSxAIENqU0&hl=en]
John, who covers the gay beat over at Brightest Young Things, wrote me yesterday regarding presidential pride statements. I wrote last week, when posting Obama’s Pride Statement, that I wanted to (in fairness) post McCain’s pride statement as well, but found none. John was nice enough to remedy the omission by sending us McCain’s pride statement, as crafted by the gay political group, Stonewall Democrats.

    HRC also has a great video on McCain’s record on LGBT issues:

    So, in other words, vote Obama b/c he’s the lesser of two evils?

    *sigh*

    Here we go again.

    Sounds like you’ve got a post somewhere in that *sigh*

    Send it over, Cuffshark

    Yet another reason Log Cabin Republicans make me sick to my stomach. Thanks for the video Ben.

    cuffshark is an idiot. he or she has posted comments along these lines before. what do you want from obama? do you want him to wear a grass skirt and officiate over a gay wedding and then eat a veggie burger? i don’t get it. obama is the most pro-gay presidential candidate in history, even better than my preferred candidate – queen hillary. come on, cuffshark. show us that you know just a little bit about civics.

    i’d rather sound like a superior know-it-all than sound like a fool. i know it’s really cool to hate politicians and talk about how politics is, like, so lame and stuff. but it’s irresponsible and silly to argue that obama and mccain are the same on gay issues or any others.
